Cost (Tab A): Material cost is the sum of (qty per m³ from IS 10262:2019 Annex A) × (unit cost) (Reaffirmed 2023) for cement, fly ash, sand, coarse aggregate, admixture and water. Add freight (₹/km/m³ × plant distance). Apply wastage %, profit % and GST % as multiplicative factors on the subtotal.
Production (Tab B): Mixer throughput = 3600 / cycle time (batches per hour). Truck throughput = (60 / round trip) × truck count. Actual output is the lower of the two — that's your bottleneck. Fleet utilisation = actual / mixer.
Why the BOM template? IS 10262:2019 gives worked examples in its informative Annex A — these are median crushed-aggregate mixes, MSA 20 mm, 75–100 mm slump, no admixture unless noted. They're a defensible starting point for cost estimation; a project-specific mix design from a designer-of-record supersedes them for actual production.
