Brief to first commercial batch, in four moves.

Lab formulation → trial mixes → strength testing → plant trials → optimization → production. IS 10262 · ACI 211.1.

No "lab hero" recipes that fall apart at scale. Each phase gates the next — if pilot doesn't hit cost and performance, plant scale-up is not authorised.

We start with the brief — performance, cost and plant constraints — and design backwards. Recipes that win the lab but lose the plant are not recipes; they are prototypes.

Honest cost cycles

Cost optimisation is run three times before lock-in — binder, additive package, and finally raw-material sourcing. We will not hand you a recipe that breaks your target cost the week after launch.

You own the formula

All formulations, trial records and cost sheets developed specifically for your product are delivered to you on closure — signed off, no retainership hidden in fine print. Pre-existing ConcreteInfo IP — testing methodology, baseline data and lab protocols — stays with ConcreteInfo.

Q.01

Can you match an existing competitor product?

Yes — that is one of our most common briefs. We start with a reverse-engineering pass (binder, additives, grading), confirm target properties against a benchmark sample and then build a cost-aware formulation. We don't copy trade secrets; we deliver functionally equivalent performance.
Q.02

What is the minimum engagement size?

A single product category, one grade, one specification — typically 6–10 weeks from kickoff to pilot batch. Smaller "one-property tweak" jobs are scoped on a consulting basis. Multi-grade / multi-category briefs are scoped as a programme.
Q.03

Who owns the formulation after the project?

You do — in full. On closure, all formulations, trial records, cost sheets and supplier data are transferred with a signed IP assignment. We retain no rights to reproduce, sell or licence the formula.
Q.04

Do you do third-party certification?

We arrange accredited third-party tests on request — IS, EN or ASTM panels depending on the product and target market. We coordinate sample preparation, test witnessing and report handover. Costs are itemised and passed through at actual.
