Ask us a question about concrete, construction quality or site practice.
Put the question you actually have in front of a person who does this work. Every question is read and answered by email. If the answer is worth keeping — and you said yes to publication — it becomes an article on this site, so that the next person with the same question finds it.
Ask your question
Ten characters is enough to start — one clear sentence beats a paragraph. The more you tell us about the situation — the grade, the mix, the standard, what the cubes actually showed — the more useful the answer will be.
What happens to your question
Three steps. We do not promise a date for the answer — a question that needs a considered answer takes as long as it takes.
-
1
We read it
A person reads every question. Nothing is answered automatically, and nothing is filtered by a machine before it reaches us.
-
2
We answer it by email
The answer comes to the address you gave us. If the question is out of our scope, or a duplicate, we say so and say why.
-
3
If it is a good question and you said yes, we publish it
No question is published as written. Every question is read and answered by a person before anything is published.
What we publish
The rules, stated plainly, so you know what you are agreeing to when you tick the box.
- —Your email address is never published. Not in the article, not in its metadata, not in the search index. It stays in our queue, where it belongs.
- —Your first name only may be published — and only if you ticked the publication box above.
- —Your company, your project, your site and your location are never published. Please leave them out of your question, so that there is nothing for us to redact.
- —A published answer appears as an ordinary article in our technical blog, with FAQPage markup, so that machines and language models can read it as well as you can.
If you did not tick the box, we still answer you — we just never publish your words. In that case the founder may write a question of their own that makes the same technical point.
Published answers
Every answer we have published from this form. Each one was read and answered by a person before it was written up — no question is published as it arrived.
